Guneriussen started displacing objects such as tables, lamps and chairs in 2005, using them to constuct unfinished stories in landscapes all over his native, Norway. The photographs represent the reality of the installation itself. This makes the work increasingly complex and time-consuming. It is an approach to the balances between nature and culture, but also a mulptiple reading of unfulfilled stories.

Rune Guneriussens photographs are successfully shown in galleries all over the world, such as Melanie Rio Gallery in Nantes. He is also found in magazines (Cercle magazine and traffic-magazine) and many websites online in conduction with his own website: http://www.runeguneriussen.no/

Guneriussens stunning worls fetches prices over 10,000 euros.

Many individual artists dont necessarily want to dictate a story into their artworks, and in this case, that is Rune Guneriussen. No explanations is given of the stories Guneriussen is trying to express, he leaves them effectively open ended, claiming that "art itself should be questioning and bewildering as opossed to patronising and restriciting". He points out that he does not want to dictate a way to the understanding of his art but rather "indicate a path to understanding a story". Rune Guneriussen prefers to have no explanation to his work, and to retain a visual process in the audiences mind. He believes that the less said and written in photography, the better.

Although, Rune Guneriussens series "connections", shows a meaning and individual story uponthe concepts of modern society. Despite his works as being 'untold' or 'unfinished', "connections" series points towards how comunications have changed throughout time. He has interpreted rotary-dial telephones to imply the approach of his understanding of what they used to use in the previous years to now. Rune Guneriussen used to own a rotary-dial telephone and this strongly pinpoints the way of how the world has delineated his connections series.

The world around Guneriussen is greatly comprehended in his work as he is influenced from nature, the habitat and everyday objects that are generally around him.
